In this episode of “Paradigm Shift – An Educational Comedy” that we have titled as “PSEC – 2017 – CCN-SE – Humor: The Driving Force of Appreciation” — save for some brief interjections of seriousness, this episode is going to be 100% pure comedy and silliness of the most politically incorrect and societal taboo violating kind! In order to have a rational and productive outlook on life, silly being the gateway to the serious — a broad threshold of humor is extremely important. As the title of this video makes clear, humor is the driving force of appreciation. The more broad and open your sense of humor is, the easier it is to handle the more challenging and annoying aspects of life, because more often than not, you will be in a state of extended appreciation of life and not taking much for granted. The more you can appreciate life, this provides more strength and stamina for facing things that are more serious and disturbing. Only with this increased confidence through appreciation can we navigate life without being in a state of clinical depression on the verge of emotional and psychological breakdown. When we can appreciate irony and satire, and be able to even laugh at ourselves and not take everything so damn seriously, we can then keep a more clear and rational mind when the times come when logic and discernment are required to be our steadfast allies in meeting and moving through the trials and tribulations that life can throw at us.
This is a PSEC CCN Special Edition Presentation, designed for broadcasting on Conscious Consumer Network Independent TV. Each show will also air on the psecdocumentary YouTube Channel 1 week after they are streamed on CCN.
It is our intention to inspire others to view the negative as a positive opportunity for positive change, because without compassion in our actions, one is merely “aware” but not necessarily awake. A platform of compassion is the only way to bring in a new and better world.
