STOP SOUTH AFRICAN GENOCIDE | Mel Ve & Karin Smith speak to Shar Grainger | 29 August 2017 @ 7pm GMT – When human beings experience severe trauma of life’s challenges, It is not uncommon for their lives to begin to fall apart. My passion is to help people.
I am a caring and compassionate person. I like to help people who have been through or experience trauma, stress and challenges in their lives. I believe in being constructive, positive and enthusiastic in finding healthy perceptions in situations and people, to strengthen relationships in order to rebuild lives.
I was born in Rhodesia, a country now known as Zimbabwe. Because of the troubles, we moved as a family to South Africa early in the 1970’s to rebuild our lives, only to find 20 years later we would be relocating to another country for my families safety and security. Today I find myself helping individuals and families to overcome challenges in their country and those around me in the country I now call home.
My education background comprises of first in Human Resource Management with Industrial Relations and then in law and forensic investigation. I am actively involved in various projects as a political activist. I am straightforward and tough. My interests include campaigning and blogging about the wrongfully convicted. I am passionate about wild life conservation and preservation, I enjoy breaking away and escape by outdoor living, walking, fishing and boating.
